The film, based on newsreels and documentaries created at the National Film Studio "Belarusfilm" in different years, tells the story of the burned Belarusian villages during the Great Patriotic War, and provides an opportunity to rethink at the present stage the policy of genocide that was carried out by the Nazi invaders in Belarus.
