Synopsis

In a small town in the Cuban Sierra Maestra, María Consuelo demands her daughter María Antonia to be relieved of the care of three elderly women and her older sister who suffers from mental disabilities. The daughter’s decision to leave the house, in order to become independent, has generated a conflict between them that brings to the surface feelings of dependence and guilt.
