Synopsis

When the son of the owner of a woollen mill learns of the plight of the starving Jews in Russia he sets about raising money to ease their suffering. After raising $100,000, he plans to travel to Russia but is dismayed to find that his father wants him to return with the Russian girl found for him by a professional matchmaker.
