In his studio, a painter starts a painting. Outside, his son improvises some graffiti on the walls of the house. Both of them wish to pay tribute to their family cat, which disappeared following a nocturnal fight with another cat. The latter, a black cat, lost an eye, and its owner, a writer and bookseller, comes to bring its news. The former, a white cat, never came home...
