Daughter

Hija

Synopsis

Juana is a teenager who lives with her alcoholic father in a farm nestled in the missionary mountain. They live an isolated life, marked by the routine of charcoal production and the weight of the absence of her mother, whose death at an early age is a mystery. Juana begins to feel attracted to an area of the mountain in which there is a strange house in ruins, which seems to contain some key to that past. Her visits awaken in her a need to know more about what happened. As the search for the truth becomes more chaotic, Juana’s feelings for her father could lead her to make a drastic decision.
