De Navíos, Ron y Chocolate

Synopsis

It deals with the agro-industrial wealth before the appearance of oil in Venezuela, when the export of cocoa, coffee and sugar cane to Europe was the main economic activity of the country. The film shows the presence of the Corsicans in the Antilles and in the recently independent Hispanic America, who brought, in addition to their workforce, cultural advances from the European world. It tells a story that spans from the 17th century to the present.
