Synopsis

Becoming a mother in Africa can be one of the most dangerous jobs in the world, in the poverty stricken central African country of Chad, women have a 1 in 11 chance of dying during pregnancy or childbirth. This documentary shows the struggle of Grace Kodindo, an obstetrician who has dedicated her life to stop mothers in her country from dying.
