Synopsis

Elly travels from Berlin to Michigan to visit her grandfather Dixie. Their long-standing email correspondence, begun after their respective queer coming-outs in 2015, finally takes shape in person, revealing mismatched expectations: Dixie associates queerness with physical connection, while Elly does not.
