El Sereno de Bogotá
An old man - in charge of taking care of the streets and keeping the lanterns lit that illuminated the nights of the city - a job known as “Sereno” - finds himself at the beginning of a day with an insomniac passerby. He decides to tell her his life, a series of tragedies that includes a poor childhood, loss of parents, estrangement from his beloved, marriage and loss of wife and son.
