Synopsis

A disturbing film of lost innocence portraying the experiences of a 12-year-old girl who is torn between the child that she is and the woman that she is becoming.Depicts her fear and excitement of the unknown. Relates the beginning of her awareness of her own sexuality while she copes with family conflicts. From a short story written by Christine Schutt, featuring Lourdes Rivera, Maggie Burke and Robert B. Silver.
