Farewell, Shura

修羅よ さらば

Synopsis

Genji (Kazuyoshi Ozawa), a misfit of the Rindo-kai, spends his nights drunk in the shadows of Asakusa. The only one who truly cares for him is Yumeko (Yoko Kamon), a dancer at the Rock-za theater. One evening, his underling rushes in: “Boss, we’re merging with Osaka’s Hirokame-gumi!” At the same time, word spreads of the Rindo-kai boss’s apparent suicide—something Genji finds highly suspicious. Convinced it’s the work of the Hirokame-gumi, he staggers off alone, still half-drunk, to uncover the truth…
