Kubota’s Kimonos. History On Silk

The film will tell the audience about the life and work of the legendary Japanese textile artist Itchiku Kubota. At the age of 20, while studying the art of dyeing fabrics at the Tokyo Museum, Ichiku Kubota was inspired by the patterns of the special painting on fabric for kimono "tsujigahana".
