Synopsis

In the mountains of Chiapas, México, a Tzeltal Mayan village organizes into Gobierno Comunitario, participating in a movement that seeks to maintain and recover the millennial community practices of Lekil Kuxlejal, or “right living”. Lekil Kuxlejal seeks a holistic way of living that promotes mutual care and respect for nature and is rooted in the belief that all beings are interdependent.
