Madonna

57 years old Madonna is the only female public bus driver in Georgia. Once a famous Soviet proletarian tram driver, today she struggles against patriarchal society which perceives her occupation as a “man’s job”. She refuses to give up driving and demands to be accepted as a woman. Meanwhile, after waiting for Government's attention for years in vain, Madonna begins to renovate her little apartment with her own hands. Inside the former Tram administrative building, she tries to build a peaceful home to share with her old mother.
