Synopsis

A heavy metal fan wants to be sculpted with all the wisdom of metal to become a tough heavy metal badass. To do this, he will have to become the apprentice of Phil H. Anselmo who will guide him on the path of true heavy metal, but it will not be easy to him. Metal Grasshopper pairs the unlikely duo of Heavy Metal God Philip H. Anselmo with comedian, dandy, and NPR darling Dave Hill. Dave begs Phil to mold him into “The baddest metal motherfucker of all time.” Phil begrudgingly relents and the abuse and absurdity reach epic levels.
