Synopsis

Turkish and Pakistani women tell a female film crew about the difficulties they have encountered since arriving in Denmark. They talk about where they come from, their culture and religion, and the gender roles and family patterns they grew up with – and which they suddenly have to carry on in a completely different society where, in their eyes, everything is permitted.
