Susana Carvente, a retired poet, is haunted by the ghost of her husband. On her sixtieth birthday, Susana reunites with Humberto, a bolero master she remembers from her youth, and a repressed attraction begins to resurface. Meanwhile, Susana stars in an interview where she relives dark moments from her marriage. At a crossroads, Susana must choose between what she believes is right, her past, or her freedom.
