Much has been said about the strong bond between humans and dogs, but when the adverse reality of a country tries to break it, it's when that bond can be tested. "Sugar Bread" is an autobiographical short film that touches on topics such as Venezuelan migration, the passing of time and grief, all seen through the unique tint of a dog's gaze.
