Lorenzo is a young photographer and lives with his alcoholic father in a suburban apartment. He is shy, reserved, and never separates from his old Polaroid. When one morning, on the news, Lorenzo discovers that the girls he photographed have disappeared, his present will become unreal and his past increasingly tangible, in a mad search for the perfect smile, even after death.
