The survivors of "The Bogman" and five new acquaintances find themselves stranded on a WW2 military vessel in the middle of the ocean. A secret organization has discovered a strange new bacterium on the ocean floor and a freak storm causes this "black goo" to escape while the crew seems to be transforming into evil, grotesque, mermaids.
