Synopsis

Teresa, a revue dancer dreaming of stardom and love with actor Modecki, endures fleeting affairs, her friend’s suicide and a struggling provincial theatre before returning to Warsaw. After winning a leading role and finding success, she learns she’s pregnant and must choose between her career and motherhood.
