The Blue Gates of the City

Porțile albastre ale orașului

Synopsis

Freshly released from a military hospital where he had been treated for an injury inflicted by a subordinate, Second Lieutenant Roșu, a rough but fair man, returns to command the anti-aircraft artillery battery he was leading. In the days following the turn of the guns against the Hitlerites, the unit would fight heroically, destroying German fighter planes taking off from Otopeni airport. The turn of events changed the subordinates' view of Rosu.
