The Call of the Crater

On February the 26th, 2010, a girl from Bajawa, Yohana Veronca Mole, ended her life by jumping into the crater of Kelimutu. This incident left deep scar in Yuliana, a middle-aged woman who is also the mother of Vera. Several years later, on 2014, Yuliana tried remembering back the bitter memory from her deceased daughter’s photographs, the recording of her funeral procession, and the footage of the ritual for the dead. Yuliana told everything she could remember on the death of her daughter.
