Synopsis

Engineer Martyanov fights corruption and old methods of working at his institute after electing the secretary of the party committee. His clashes with the director of Proshin lead to serious troubles. Martyanov fights for the truth, refusing compromises, and although he loses his post, he receives support from friends and wife.
