Due to an accident, detectives Chi and Wah are demoted and assigned to a police station in a remote village. They meet an old woman and her granddaughter. In order to cure the dementia of her grandmother, the girl re-plants a desolate chrysanthemum garden. Chi offers to help and gradually falls in love with her.
