Young Copenhagener Mads goes in search of authenticity in rural Denmark. Together with his girlfriend, he goes on a weekend trip into the countryside, where they meet another couple who challenge his preconceptions. Mads breaks with his own ideals and resorts to extremes in order not to lose face.
