Synopsis

Fifteen animated scenes tell the story of a miraculous encounter between a human and a bird. What happens when cyclist Fred finds a young, exhausted bird of prey and lets it spend the winter in his city apartment? By combining woodcut techniques with the medium of film for the first time, Artur Dieckhoff achieves what Dürer had dreamed of: making his figures dance.
