Where I Come From

An unconditional love story of a young girl who gambles, steals and ventures into the streets to pay off her father’s gambling debts so he can come back home. Her devotion begins to shift when she is talked into seeing the value of an education by a pompous and relentless neighbor. Her sense of purpose and imagination creates a fictional but real person who acts as her subconscious, enabling her to navigate her reality.
