Alex McCollum

Alex McCollum is a cinematographer studying Cinema and Television Arts & Computer Science at Elon University. Alex's preferred projects to work on are narrative ones, although he has been known to enjoy working on documentaries and commercials. In 2025, Alex moved to Prague and studied at FAMU. There, he produced and did the cinematography for "Night Shift," his most ambitious film to date. Shot on 16mm film in the heart of Prague, "Night Shift" has been the recipient of many awards, including "Best Mystery Short" at the Independent Shorts Awards in Los Angeles.
