Heather Landsman

Born in suburban New Jersey, Heather Landsman's formative experiences of endlessly watching horror movies, growing up on turn-of-the-millennium video games, and having unfiltered access to the internet have fostered a singular filmmaking career. As a trans filmmaker under the school of thought that cinema is a medium of pure sensory experience, a lot of Heather’s work revolves around imagery of otherworldly/cosmic transformation, as well as oppressive systems of control.
