Before forming his film production company — THE DEPARTMENT OF SPECIAL PROJECTS — James cut his teeth on producing marketing content for studios such as Sony Pictures, Paramount and Netflix. He has since focused on producing and writing auteur-driven genre films with his debut horror/comedy FRIED BARRY.
