Jon Osei

Jon Osei is a Ghanaian-Filipino Canadian filmmaker from Toronto, raised in Brampton. Born in June 23, 2004, he fell in love with filmmaking after seeing the live-action adaptation of Thomas & Friends, and by 2014 he was making YouTube videos with plushies on an iPad, a DIY spark that still drives his work as a director and producer. Since 2020, Jon has made character-driven shorts across drama, comedy, and romance, mixing entertainment with educational, and philosophical themes.
