Julio Tipiana

Peruvian filmmaker selected for Talents Buenos Aires 2025. Trained in Communication Studies, he has directed three short films — Etopeya (2020), A distancia (2023), and Presunto (2023) — which have been screened at festivals such as FECIT, Andares, FENACI, Cortos de Vista, Render, and Doqumenta (Mexico). In 2020, he won first place in the Corto de Boleto competition. In 2026, he participated in the Documentary Chair Incubator for Project Development at the EICTV and in the documentary project workshop at Instituto del Cine Madrid.
