He is a musician, composer, singer, and arranger, considered one of the pioneers of electronic music in Brazil. He moved to São Paulo at the age of 16 in 1975, completing his secondary education in the city. During this period, he formed his first band, inspired by progressive rock. The following year, he attended courses on synthesizers taught by musician and composer Luiz Roberto Oliveira at the São Paulo Museum of Art.
