Rashid Khan

Ustad Rashid Khan was an Indian classical musician who belonged to the Rampur-Sahaswan gharana, widely regarded as one of the foremost exponents of Hindustani classical music of his generation. Born on 1 July 1968, he was trained in music from an early age under his maternal grand-uncle Ustad Nissar Hussain Khan, continuing a rich family tradition of classical musicians.
