Revaz Gabichvadze

People's Artist of the GSSR (1967). Born on May 29 (June 11), 1913 in Tiflis. In 1935 he graduated from the Tbilisi Conservatory in the classical composition of M.M. Bagrinovskogo, V.V. Shcherbacheva and I.I. Tuskia, postgraduate study in 1938 (supervisor I. I. Tuskia, P. B. Ryazanov and B. A. Arapov).
